32,000 Sq. Ft Industrial PEB Warehouse Shed Roof Waterproofing in Medchal
!
The Water Ingress Problem
An expansive 32,000 sq. ft Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) metal roofing system experienced extensive water leakage through rusted roof sheet J-bolt screw fasteners, ridge cap overlaps, and valley gutters, damaging palletized FMCG inventory.

Engineering Treatment & Execution
1. High-pressure air cleaning and mechanical de-rusting of all rusted metal sheet overlaps.\n2. Application of rust-converting primer on all corroded fasteners and metal flashings.\n3. Encapsulation of 8,500+ roof screws with butyl rubber waterproof capping.\n4. Application of stitch-bonded polyester reinforcing fabric embedded in high-tensile liquid polyurethane membrane over all sheet seams and valley gutters.\n5. Top-coating with solar-reflective heat-insulating waterproofing coating (SRI 108) reducing internal warehouse temperature by 5°C.
Industrial Shed Waterproofing: High-Capacity Warehouse Roof Defense
Metal roofs on industrial sheds expand and contract continuously due to Hyderabad's severe diurnal temperature fluctuations. This movement shears rubber washers around screw heads and unseals lap joints.
Seamless Liquid Polyurethane Encapsulation
Instead of costly roof replacement that would halt logistics operations, we deployed a cold-applied, fully reinforced liquid rubber membrane system. Every single fastener was sealed under heavy-duty elastomeric caps, and all horizontal laps were reinforced with stitch-bonded fabric.
